  Before studying to become a dentist, Ariel Stein, DMD, attended Stony Brook University. He went on to graduate from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1990. After dental school, he attended a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Stein has been a practicing dentist for more than 28 years. For the last 19 years, he has proudly provided superior dental care to families in Mount Vernon, NY. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Stein has taken many continuing education classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced care available.   Veneers

  Veneers are thin, porcelain shells that our dentist can attach to the front of your teeth, obscuring surface-level issues like stains, cracks, chips, or minor misalignment. Every porcelain veneer is custom-designed to fit seamlessly into your smile. We use veneers made from the finest dental porcelain that near-perfectly imitates the appearance of natural enamel. Veneer placement is quick and painless. This dentistry procedure involves very minimal modification of your natural teeth.   Dental Crowns

  Typically made from acrylic or composite resin, temporary crowns protect your teeth while permanent crowns are being made. Temporary crowns are designed to last one to three weeks. Designed to last between five and 15 years, permanent traditional crowns can be made from metal alloy, dental ceramic, porcelain, zirconia, or porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM).   Dental Bridges

  Whether you are missing a single tooth or several teeth, our Mount Vernon, NY, team can help find a solution for you.
